A: Depends if you want a truck buggy or monster truck. The bandit rustler and stampede are great vehicles i have owned all three. Check out thier website for details. These cars are easy to use and offer many hopups. the bandit and rustler xl-5 would be my pick under $200 and very fast visit you local hobby shop for a test drive!

A: Acura is sweet ($) Jeep is crap (AVOID) Scion is cool, inexpensive the lancer is not great the 4cyl is poor and the higher trim levels are costly. the TSX is due a redesign this Spring, if money is tight buy the Scion.

Q: why are cars so much cheaper in the US?
so comparing car prices in the u.k her and across the pond, our ford ranger truck which is a 2.5 diesel costs £17000 which is basically $34000, whereas in the us i could get a new ford ranger with a petrol v6 for $9000! also the gmc sierra denali costs about $35000 which is the same as our pickup, but seems to be a hell of a lot more truck for the money.....

A: You must be looking at an outdated web site... The least expensive new 2008 Ford Ranger in the USA lists for $14,330 USD, and that's with the 2.3 liter 4-cylinder engine and NO options. A: I am in the US but I'm not going to give you a website for here or there. Just wanted to make sure that you know that if you go to a website comparing prices for you they probably aren't the actual prices you would get from those companies. For example, there is a large company in the US that says they'll give you their prices plus prices for other companies - the other companies prices are just made up numbers! You'd be much better off just calling the individual companies or going to their websites. Sorry I don't have more specifics for you for Canada!

A: I like Edmunds.com for car research -- prices, specs, reviews, owner discussions, etc. However, there are others such as Cars.com Automotive.com, and Yahoo Autos.

A: If you want to buy the CLK500, what you need to do is educate yourself on how to negotiate the best deal, because ultimately its up to the dealer to find out how much he wants to sell the car for. Go to www.adviceontime.com they have a comperhensive article on how to get the best deal on a car.

A: The best site(s) I have used are vehix.com and kbb.com. Vehix is more in depth as far as MSRP and Specifications of cars. KBB is more just for MSRP/Trade in/Private Party Values. Good luck!

A: No I don't think there is. I have searched for a compare web site in Ireland, and couldn't find one. I don't think there is enough compition in the Irish insurance market to make it worth having one.

A: Hi, did you know that there is a version of Yahoo! Answers for India? If you scroll all the way down to the very bottom of the page, you'll see the India flag. I'll bet you'll find a lot more people on that site who can help you find something specifically Indian! Otherwise, try Sify? They have a lot of good stuff! Good luck... :)

Motorcycles may cost more than 50% of the cost of a small car. A m/c may weigh 200 kg; a small car may give you 800 kg of stuff. Some cars are produced in larger volumes than m/cs but many m/cs or scooters have production runs of more than 20,000. Think of all the stuff you don't get in a m/c; 6 airbags, 5 seatbelts, 5 seats, headrests, backrests, windows, doors, roof, windscreen, wipers, washers, bodywork, power steering, air con., differential, carpets, less paint, smaller motor, boot, ABS, BAS, ESC, bumpers, etc. Are you being ripped off?

A: It's a "what the market will bear" profitability model. People still buy motorcycles. Dealers carry the ones that people will buy. Also -- auto makers rip into you for maintenance at dealerships.

Q: been comparing prices 2010 camaro mustang challenger?
From what I'm seeing is that the mustang is the cheapest of the bunch. Ive learned about these cars and seems for less hp and little bit slower car the mustang is actually a better built car. Also is a funner car to drive. I want a new mustang I love camaro's. Am I a trater?

A: Speed wise, the Mustang is not far off the other 2. They each have their good and bad points, so I would do a little research on each to see which fits what you are looking for in a car. Good luck and as mentioned, Road and Track tested those 3 and the Mustang actually won.

For example an Hyundai Accent is priced around $13000(Rs.520000) for a higher end model in US, but the same is priced around Rs 600000 for a base model.In spite of having a manufacturing plant in Sriperambudur, which lowers the logistics cost and other costs, cars are significantly priced higher in India. This is the cause for many people for not affording to own one.

A: Well,ram .firstly,I dont think thats the case with santros.they dont cost more than 3.5 lakh,which is affordable to most middlemen.( the upper end goes to around a lakh more)but,all the same,i do agree cars are cheaper in foreign countries(nearly half the price in India whether the above case applies or not)A country like the Us need not worry about its economic interests being threatened by companies native to some other country to such a great extent like in India.India's economy will incur losses if it does not levy duties on foreign brand vehicles.its a common fact that TATA,mahindra and maruti dont have such an awesome range of vehicles to offer. So,people would prefer any foreign brand to these cars if they had a chance to.After all,rule 101 in our constitution is our people come first.Until India becomes a developed country,we will have to deal with this. But,surprise, surprise!Rejoice,my friend,Ram.you could go for a jagy once its in Tata's hands.Maybe,we will see a new breed of cars at reasonable prices..

A: http://www.edmunds.com They have a pretty good informative website with close to true invoice prices. Some dealerships are subject to additional fees, such as regional advertising, which is an actual fee added to the invoice price. It won't change the MSRP, but the dealership will be charged the fee.
