Q: How do you program personal settings in a 2007 Dodge Ram ?
Hey there! I have a 2007 Dodge Ram 1500 Hemi 5.7L Laramie edition, I heard that there is a way to program personal settings e.g lights, unlocking doors etc etc. Is this true!?! I want to be able to set this up I heard that it has something to do with the Key Fob???!!! HELP! lol.
A: There should be a list in the owners manual, if not take it to the dealership and ask them. Most will show you how as a courtesy.
Q: removing a catalytic converter on a 2007 dodge ram 1500?
I'm replacing an exhaust system from the manifold all the way back on a 2007 dodge ram 1500 and I need to disconnect the catalytic converter. Its bolted to the manifold and welded to the exhaust pipe and is on an angle near the fire wall. I can not get to the bolts by removing the tire nor get to them via the hood.
A: You need to get the truck up on a lift to get to see your best angle. Once up on the lift, let the mechanic remove it for you, shouldnt charge you very much.

Q: whats the biggest tire I can fit on a stock height 2007 dodge ram 1500 4x4?
i will need to be replacing my tires on my 2007 dodge ram and was wondering if i could fit a bigger tire such as a 305/55 R 20 underneath it. It currently has the 275/60 size underneath it and the problem with that size is im very limited on how aggressive i can get with tires of that size. Thanks for your help:-)

Q: 2007 Dodge Ram power keys wont work now engine wont even turn over?
My 2007 dodge ram wont start, it was fine until i went to lock the vehicle with my power key and it wouldint work i then went to go start it after and the engine wouldnt turn off but everything else worked radio,lights. but its weird how my keys wont even lock or unlock?? now the truck wont start?? Anyone have an idea
A: try doing this, remove both battery cables from it and touch both of them together at the same time and this will reset it,and if it doesn't start then,you will have to get it reprogrammed,this usually works though 99% of the time on those trucks,its just not recognizing the key your using on it,if you have another key for it use it after erasing the memory on it buy removing both cables that forces it to learn the new settings from the key.good luck on it,

i don't know i am supposed to be not moving or moving when i put my truck into 4 wheel drive? please used detail?
A: read the owners manual that should tell you if not you can put it in 4x4 high at 55mph or less just left off the gas and pop it in and for 4x4 low you wanna be doing less then 35 mph putting it in neutral does help some but the best way is from a stop.

i have a 2007 dodge ram hemi 1500, and the ciggarette lighter went out like it burnt... then all the sudden, the speedometer doesnt work at all, the cruise control doesnt work, the stereo stopped working and the auto lock... please this is my baby.. help!!!! were going to take it tomorrow but its going to cost 95 just see whats wrong with it and then the cost of whatever repairs!!! help!!!
A: check in the fuse panel for one marked accessory on it that should be the one that controls the features you have listed that aren't working on it but id let a dealer or an electrical shop check this one out,if its got a short in it that could cause an electrical fire in it if you replace the fuse,i seen a 2002 dodge ram burn up because of a similar problem,it burnt the carper and everything out of it,good luck.
Q: I have a 2007 dodge Ram 1500 hemi 5.7 with 45000,00 miles and the code says it is needing a egr valve?
it is missing and burning more gas. I am needing to know how to change it or where I can get some instructions. I am wanting to do it myself but can not find a chilton book on it.
A: the egr valve goes bad often in those trucks, replacing it usually fixes the problem its located on the passenger cylinder head towards the front ,it has a metal pipe the connects it to the intake. it has two 10mm bolts holding it to the head and two 8mm bolts that hold the pipe to the valve. easy to do in under 30 mins.

Q: How do I turn off horn chirp on locking a 2007 Dodge Ram 1500?
I've tried over and over the way the manual instructs with holding lock for 4 seconds...no more than ten...then push and hold the panic button (from the key fob while outside the vehicle). Release both together. It still honks every time I lock the doors. I am able to get the other features changed using other combinations on the key fob, but this one will not turn off! Any help would be great!!
A: The only thing I can think of is you are not releasing both at the same time. It works on mine.
Q: Has anybody installed headers for a 2007 Dodge Ram?
Did you notice improvement/ easy to install/ CA legal? I was also thinking about getting a throttle body spacer, any advice. I have an AirRaid cold air intake system already that I'm happy with.
A: the headers are a good idea ,you will notice a slight difference in it with them but not on the throttle body spacer,i gave one away that was given to me to try on my truck ,plain and simple i couldn't see any difference in the running part of it other than it hurt it on low end power,go with the headers and what you got and you,ll be fine with it,stay away from the spacer though ,their a waste of time and money,good luck.
Q: Should i use Super Unleaded in my 2007 Dodge Ram 1500?
My truck trembles but i have changed all the filters to the engine the one for the gas and such! But is it possible to fill up the tank with unleaded then about 2 gallons of super lead. Will it do any harm to my engine or what is a good recommendation!
A: you need to check the plugs in it if its doing that ,running super or high test in it wont hurt it none ,but it may not help it either,it could just need a simple tune up,it wont hurt it though,if it don't help it though try having the computer scanned ,what ever is causing that too happen may have left a trouble code stored in the computer then you,ll know for sure whats causing it,good luck with it.
