Q: what are the chances of me owning a 1965 Ford Mustang?
I'm now 20 years old. I've been wanting one since I was 15. I have my own licence now. I'm dreaming about buying my first car.
What are the chances of me owning one ? I want to drive around town in it and impress girls.
One thing I want to do before I die is to drive a 1965 Ford Mustang Fastback.
A: i don't agree with the first answer. i drive a 68 gt500 convertible. plenty of girls are impressed and love the car. everybody turns and stares. if you really want one, take your time save your money and buy one or restore one. still less expensive than most new cars and a better in vestment because they increase in value not depreciate.

A: A Ford "cammer" generally refers to a 427 SOHC motor - and the engine alone is worth 5 or 6 figures.
Q: I own a 1965 Ford Mustang coupe restored does anyone know how the heater works on one of these cars?
I cant see to be able to get the heater to work and I am wondering if I might not have hooked it up right but it worked before can anyone help me?
A: It's a continuous loop and the heat is controlled by a door opened by the cable..
is there hot water flowing through the heater hoses? if not, they could be blocked in the core or someone left out the thermostat... it needs a 180 degree thermostat for the heater to work..
Q: what car would you rather have if you could have either??? 1965 Ford Mustang or 1963 Mercury Comet?
lol so if u could have either a 1965 Ford Mustang Convertible or a 1963 Mercury Comet. Yeah the mustangs are always nice but even if its a 65', theyre really nuthen special lol. wuldnt a 63' Mercury Comet be like awesome???? lol
theyre both nice
what do u thnk,,,,what wuld u rather have??
A: Not the 63 Comet. The 65 Caliente with the 390 or 66 with a 427 and 2 carbs. The 65 Mustang was a dressed up Falcon.
Q: we have a 1965 ford mustang it was made on june 1964?
we have the original owner title ( 1 Owner) never have another name on this car. We are thinking to make a frame off restoration, we have many new part for this classic car. Do you think at the end of the restoration it will be worth all the time and money that was needed to make this car. The one owner title makes this mustang cost more?
A: suggest getting a ford mustang identification guide and decode the vin. 64 1/2 stangs are worth more , it should also have 13" rims on it . the value will also increase depending on the options , powertrain and so on . if it is a 64 1/2 it should have a 260 cid or a 170 cid engine and there is no such thing as a 64 1/2 fastback they came out in nov 64 = 65 , no GT's in 64 came out in feb 65 do your research be fore you spend your money. the rule is the restorer never recoupes the time and money invested . the buyer will usually make out on the deal
Q: From where can I buy a Ford Mustang 1965 - 1968 in running condition for under $15000?
I mean road running/driving condition.
A: There are lots of places where people advertise cars for sale. Many of them are available online on the Internet. The first place I would look online would be eBay, followed by Craig's List. If you live in or near a big city, your local city newspaper may also have classified ads online. Hemmings Motor News is always a good source for classic and collectible cars, but the cars advertised there tend to be restored and higher priced than eBay or Craig's List.
