Q: Where do I find bedliner screws/anchors for a 2000 ford ranger?
I have a 2000 ford ranger regular cab short wheelbase with a factory ford Duraliner. The bedliner is missing four of the plastic screws that hold it in place. Therefore the bedliner will rattle when going over a bump. Where can I find these parts?
A: If its factory then the dealer will have them, just explain to the parts man what you need. Or try a junk yard

I am trying to replace the timing belt on the 2.5L 2000 Ford Ranger. The Chilton Manual says to remove the Air condition/power steering mounting bracket, but does not say how many or where they are located. Can some one please help
A: I believe the brackets are located on the engine. If you cant get the simple brackets off, I would not suggest attempting to go further.

I have a ford ranger and i would like to change the differential from limited slip to posi traction. Im not sure on what the actual term is i read locker axle. But on my ranger 1 wheel rotates and i would like to change it to both tires to rotate. Please tell me how. If this is a at the house kind of thing or do i have to go somewhere special. and part suggestion please if you could.
A: Limited slip is positraction. You might be referring to a locker. There are several kinds. A mechanical locker will be cheapest but some are not good on the street. There are also selectable lockers, these are lockers that the driver engages when needed, some use air pressure to activate, some are electrically operated. They are more expensive but they function like an open diff when not activated, making them ideal for street use.

A: yes, you can, but make sure its not leaking because the smaller molecules in synthetic oil will cause slow leaks to speed up, but as long as you have no leaks its fine and you should get more mileage out of it than conventional oil

I just purchased a 2000 Ford Ranger it has automatic transmission there is a button to push in to put it in OD, but when I turn the engine off and get back in the OD is on. Is it supposed to be in OD all the time or when and what is it used for ? Thank You for any information you can give me on this.
A: Default is OD engaged. When you manually disengage it, it will return to the OD on strategy if the key is cycled off.
OD should be disabled only if you are hauling a trailer.
