Q: What is the normal RPM on a 2008 Honda Accord automatic 4 cyl?
Car was running fine until I got my car back from getting an oil and filter change. RPM was at about 1500 on the freeway before bringing it in and after getting my car back its at 2000? I was wondering what could they have done that caused such a change? i live in hawaii where the weather basically is always the same and drive at 60 mph.

A: rpms depend on many variables on your part too, including throttle position and speed, weather conditions (humidity, temp etc.) doing an oil change and replacing the filter wouldnt effect rpms

Q: What is rolling around inside the steering wheel of my 2008 Honda Accord?
Yesterday I noticed something rolling around in my car, and after investigation, discovered the noise is coming from inside my steering wheel whenever I turn it from center. It sounds like a little ball bearing or something. What in the world? It's very annoying. I hope the warranty covers going into the steering wheel to fix this...

A: removing whatever is in there will be covered under the factory warranty as its clear you didn't put it in there. there are screws and nuts on the underside of the steering wheel that hold the switches and the air bag in place. chances are one of the nuts spun off and that's what's rolling around as you turn the wheel. its clearly a manufacturing defect and that's what the warranty is there to take care of. hope that helps

Q: If you own a 2008 Honda Accord, what are your opinions on it?
I wanted a new car and was looking around 23,000 and below and it seemed like a good deal. I just wanted to know any big cons. I was gonna get the scion tc but many people complained about the cheap interior and bad sunroof.

A: i dont have one, but my friend does, and he seems to like it a lot. he says it is really fast for a car that gets so many mpgs. he also said it is a smooth ride and the interior is really nice. but overall he says it is way better than n e other car he has owned (toyota corrola and jeep wrangler)

My car has the 2.4L 190 hp 4 cylinder engine.

A: the best time to look is around this time next year. August through Sept. you should start shopping. usually there are labor day sales and they get rid of last year stuff in the time of the year.

Q: Smoked Head Lights for the 2008 Honda Accord 4 Door?
I just got a honda accord and was wanting to put some smoked lights on it, does anyone know where to get both smoked head and tail lights? If you could post a link of a picture if you have one of your own.

A: there's tons of diy's online if you look for them. but i wouldn't advise it if you're not very handy. you can buy stuff like that off of ebay, but you never know what you're buying on there.

Q: what is the top speed of a 2008 honda accord coupe?
with the v4 engine... its a 5 speed automatic with 190hp. what is it limited to?

A: 130 mph. the 4 cylinder probably wouldn't go much faster even without a governor.

Other than a oil change and Tire rotation. What do I need the Honda Tech to do. My car has the 190HP 2.4L I-Vtec 4 cylinder engine. I just replaced the air filters and bought new tires. My owners manual is no help. It is not clear on what I need to have done to my car at 30,000 miles.

A: at 30k miles on your Honda Accord 1) replace engine oil/oil filter 2) inspect chassis, clean/adjust brakes as needed 3) replace engine air filter (no need if you've done it already) 4) replace cabin air filter (every 15K) 5) drain and refill transmission fluid 6) rotate tires and set tire pressures 7) top off any fluid that is low

Q: Have anyone use a 9006/HB4 12V 80W Lapis Blue to replace their stock low beam on the 2008 Honda Accord Yet?
I heard it is 30% brighter compare than the original stock and it is under $20.00 for a pair.

A: I have a 12k on mine. 80w seems alot . Mine is 55w How manys k's are your valves. If your over 12kw its illegal.

Q: Why the 2008 Honda Accord coupe is so much better than the sedan?

A: Coupes are usually for the younger crowd. They want something sleek and fast. Sedans are usually for older people. So they try to fit there needs with a different style. I agree though the 4 dr doesnt look as good as the coupe. They should've at least used the coupe style lights. I would have bought a 4 dr but the coupe looks too sick to turn it down

A: It's hard to say. Honda give 19 city/29 highway was their MPG. when you drive the V6 the MPG should be around 24 If you drive softly, not hard on the foot, and mostly highway. You should get around 26 mpg..You will not be able to drive the whole tank with 3 or 4 cylinder.

Q: It is worth it to install a Wing Spoiler on the new 2008 Honda Accord Sedan that I just brought?
If so, how much would it cost to install that including the labor? Online, the part was cost like $160.00, but im pretty sure in the dealership, it will be 3 times more that include the labor.

A: Performance wise on the street it won't do crap for you. Aerodynamic wings don't usually come into play until about 60 Miles an hour. As for looks, that is you call since it is your car. So if you want one buy the one for $160 and then take it to a local body shop to have it painted and installed. You will save money but keep in mind that auto paints are not cheap. -tcw

Trying to find out if the 2008 honda accord (full options) has a GPS navigation/DVD system? I checked out the interior at the showroom a few days ago...the crumpled and ugly looking leather seats made me change my impression about the car from good to BAD...now i'm trying to find out if the comes with a GPS or not

A: you can get GPS but not DVD. Your best bet would be to get the DVD done after you buy the car. If you don't go with the Navigation/GPS option, you can get the whole thing done much cheaper from somewhere else. The dealer loves to charge a lot on the Navi's because people are actually willing to pay for them to have the luxury.
