Q: Can my 1995 Toyota Camry tow a Snipe sailboat?
I have a 1995 Toyota Camry and am considering buying a snipe sailboat. I believe the suspension can support the tongue weight, I guess I am just concerned about launch and retrieval.

A: I don't recommend it! Not for the size of the 1995 Camry. You need a car that can pull more weight.

Q: Help with 1995 Toyota Camry cranking?
I have been having some trouble getting my 1995 Toyota Camry to crank. The engine turns over, but no ignition. I noticed that the fuel pump was sometimes not coming on until after I stopped trying to crank it, and then it stopped altogether. Before replacing the fuel pump, I wanted to check the EFI relay switch and the fuel pump relay switch. Where would these be located, and how do I test them to see if they are working properly before I move on to more expensive things? Any other suggestions would be great, too.

A: They are in the fuse box under the hood. The diagnosis procedure varies. You might want to try a service manual. They are like 12 dollar parts, you may just want to replace them.

Q: Why does the passenger side window not go up on the 1995 Toyota Camry?
The car is all electric and the windows were working fine until I brought it home. The Camry is a 2 door, with a sun roof and all the windows and sun roof work fine except for the passenger side window doesnt go up. Would all the windows be on the same fuse? Am I missing something? I push the up button and it just sits there. Where would you start to find the problem? I have to leave it under the car port in case it rains and would like to get it fixed.

A: if you hit the bottom of the door with your hand a few time it might go up, turn key to on, hold switch in up position and hit it !! honda/toyota tech 12yrs.

Q: 1995 Toyota Camry very detailed simple if you have been there before?
"I have a hains manual and it is not specfic enough I live in a different city now than when I grew up. I guess my point is the mech. where I grew up had more detailed drawings. Where do I find one of these books. Or the answer to my question. I have a (1995 toyota camry le 2.2L ) This is what I was wondering? Where the cv shaft goes into the transmission it is sloppy. and at high speeds like 70 the sloppyness throws it out of balance enough that it shakes. Where the shaft goes in there is like a plate with 6 bolts. That looks like it could have a bearing in it. I cannot confirm this though. I called a couple of parts stores and one tells me there is no bearing there. There has to be one there is it just farther in the gearbox. Help me some one before I tear it apart and find out the hard way." in Yahoo! Answers

A new hose is 92 bux. I don't have 92 bux, but need to be able to drive car. Is there anything I an use to patch the crack? Will duct tape have any value in this application? (The crack is in one of the accordian folds.)

A: There is a product sold in Home Depot, and many other stores called "shoe goo", "shoo goop" and it also goes by many other names, such as "sportsman goo, or goop". Q: How much should it cost to replace a front wheel bearing on a 1995 Toyota Camry?
Thanks!

Q: How can I find out if my son's modified muffler on his 1995 Toyota Camry is legal?
He was pulled over last week. The officer said he had an illegal muffler modification on his car. However, due to other circumstances that took place during the traffic stop, my son was not cited for his muffler. Rather than have him be at risk for receiving a "fix it" ticket some time in the future for his muffler, I would like to find out now if it legal or not. If it's illegal, he would rather "fix it" on his own and avoid the ticket and fine. Thanks.

A: Take it for an MOT and see what they say.

Q: Where is the ODB port on a 1995 Toyota Camry?
I can't seem to find it besides a round port that has Diagnostics on it under the dash.

A: You can't find it because it doesn't have one! The OBD port was not required until the 1996 model year.

Q: How much oil is the correct or optimum amount for the engine in a 1995 toyota camry 4 cylinder?
Going to change oil soon, and need to know how much oil to purchase. Getting Quaker State 10w30. Yes, I know that it would appear in the owner's manual. Unfortunately, this was bought used, and it didn't come with a manual. :-(

A: 4 quarts with a new filter

Q: How to I get a copy of a 1995 Toyota camry 2.2 Vacuum hose diagram. I just replaced motor and need to finish.?
I have replaced the motor and need to finish the installing the vacuum lines to the motor. I really need help please. Dont know where to start installing the lines and dont want to put a line incorrectly on motor. It looks like there will be one on base of motor. Thanks for all help

A: The vacuum lines on my older Corolla were fouled up and it took 3 hours to find the foulup, but I was able to , using the diagram on the underside of the hood. Took a while to figure out what the symbols meant, but it was very clear and complete. Have you tried there? At many auto parts stores you can buy a Haynes do-it-yourself manual for your model car, with step-by-step instructions, wiring diagrams and basic explanations at the beginning of each chapter. If it is not in stock, you can order it online by searching on "auto repair manuals" on Yahoo search. db667089 says: you can check http://www.alldatadiy.com. For about the same price as a Haynes or Chilton's repair manual, you can have online access (for a whole year) to model specific info for your particular vehicle. This is the same info that repair shops use. They have great wiring schematics/diagrams. Also, for about $15 for a one-month subscription, you can get the factory manual, downloadable (careful! Mine was about 500 pages!) or viewable, at http://eAutoRepair.com.

Q: I disconnected the battery on my 1995 Toyota Camry and now the radio needs the security code.?
Dealer set when new, can be re-set to any code by subsequent owner(s). Have tried last 3 digits on VIN and number handwritten in user manual + 111. You only get 3 tries. Now needs re-coding - dealer wants $130 to re-code - can buy new one for that - don't want to do this - just bought car 2nd hand. How can I do it myself- willing to take radio out - need instructions on how to re-code after taking out.

A: hi there, if your in Australia, i know i can get it for you,, try disconnecting the battery of the car for 12hrs, this may clear the fact you have punched to many incorrect numbers in, if you would like to call me on 0427 836 765 in the day i will try and offer you assistance. Ian

Q: My 1995 Toyota Camry is slow to start after engine is warmed up?
Car starts up immediatelly when engine is cold, it takes a lot of cranking when starting a warm engine, would like any feedback on this problem.

A: Its probably the coolant temperature sensor. You can get one at an auto shop. it costs around $60. I don't know how to change it but I know its not too difficult.

Q: how much should i have to pay to replace a head gasket on a 1995 toyota camry 2200 4 cylinder?
It hasn't over heated at all so I dnt think the head is messed up at all.

A: at my local shop,if u need head work, would be $25 to clean head,$25 to resurface,$25 to check for cracks or leaks,$25 for each valve replaced,i would recommend having all valves replaced,$20 for new head gasket, then labor for taking off, then replacing head probally $125.,thats if u have all valves replaced ,not including the valves prices ,$13 a exhaust valve,$8 for the other one

Q: I need 4 flower-pedal shaped wheel covers/hubcaps for a 1995 Toyota Camry. Any ideas on where to find it?
I have checked all the major car part companies

A: The Big Shots don't have them? Then try the off beats- Welcome to Walmart. Maybe Autozone or Kragen or Pep Boys. Prolly Walmart will have them cheapest.

Q: Is there a low oil pressure device that will prevent my 1995 Toyota Camry from starting?
The engine has an oil leak and occasionally the level will get very low. (car isn't used much) Recently the car wouldn't start and I checked the oil level and it was barely on the stick! After adding 2 quarts, it started right up and ran great! It is parked on an incline, so maybe the pump wasn't picking up the oil untill I added more?

A: NO, there is no such sensor in a Camry. I have been working on Cars for over 20 years and have not ever heard fo such a thing. Do not use the stop leak, just get the leak fixed proper. Stop leak may work temporarley but will cause more problems than you know.
