I always thought antifreeze was green, or maybe orange, but my Toyota Corolla's overflow tank has red colored fluid. I don't want to ruin the engine with the wrong coolant. Suggestions? Thanks!

A: Toyota has 2 types of coolent, Red and Pink. The red is a long life and the pink is a super long life. Do not mix them and do not mix in green. The Pink is premixed so you can just pore is right into the motor, the Red needs to be mixed 50/50.

Q: How much do you pay a month for your Toyota corolla?
How much do you pay a month for your Toyota corolla and how much did you buy it for?

A: Monthly payments really depend on a lot of issues. How much the car is that you are buying, how much money you have to put down and your rates. I got a toyota celica for 5 grand and paid about 100 a month. I also had a grand to put down. It also depends on the bank and your credit. Also you have to look at insurance rates. My celica had low payments but I had to get full coverage and it was about $200 a month. Good luck!

Q: How many more miles be for changing timing belt on 1998 toyota corolla?
I'm 19 and my 1998 corolla has 163000 miles. Its been really good to me but i just want to know that is the timing belt or chain breaks will it destroy the engine? and another question is how can i make the car's intake bigger because i feel that its not getting enough cold air? is there after market parts for toyota corolla?

A: http://www.toyota.com/help/faqs/service-does_my_vehicle_have_a_timing_belt_or_a_timing_chain.html The 1998-2009 US Toyota Corolla has a timing chain, while a 1990-1997 US Toyota Corolla has a timing belt. There is no prescribed service interval for the timing chain. If you had a timing belt, for that model year you would change it every 60,000 miles or 4 years. http://www.toyota.com/help/faqs/service-what_maintenance_is_required_on_my_timing_belt.html You should check your Corolla's scheduled maintenance guide to see if there's any other major services that you may have missed... http://smg.toyotapartsandservice.com/
